About Our Church

We have various ministires to equip and enable the saints along with reaching the lost for our Lord Jesus Christ.

Our Mission

We exist to glorify God, to equip faithful followers of Jesus Christ and to reach the lost as enabled by the Holy Spirit.

Our Philosopy

Faith is more than what happens on Sunday mornings. It's a part of who we are, inside and out. At Faith Fellowship Baptist Church, we believe in sharing the joy of the gospel daily, and living a life that embodies the spirit of Christ.

Church Constitution & Statement of Faith

Article I. NAME The organization to be called Faith Fellowship Baptist Church. Incorporated under Faith Fellowship Incorporated.

Article II. THE CHURCH We believe in the universal Church, a living spiritual body of which Christ is the Head and all regenerated persons are members. We believe in the local Church that it is autonomous with Christ alone as the Head, consisting of a company of believers baptized on a profession of faith, led by the Spirit of God, as members fitly joined together in the unity of God's Spirit, and associated for worship, work and fellowship. We believe that God has laid upon the members of the local Church the primary task of giving the gospel of Jesus Christ to a lost world. We believe that the scriptural method of raising funds for the Church is by the means of consistent and free-will offerings. (I Corinthians 16:2Colossians 1:18aEphesians 2:19Acts 11:26Matthew 28:1920

Article III. THE PURPOSE OF THE CHURCH 1. To proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ and urge the personal acceptance, by faith, of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins. 2. To cultivate spiritual life and Christian fellowship by maintaining regular meetings for worship, prayer, Bible study, the Lord's Supper and visitation. 3. To promote missions at home and abroad through prayer, financial support and commissioning of members.

1. WORD OF GOD. We believe that the Bible is the Word of God, written and complete; that the 66 books comprising the Old and New Testaments are verbally inspired. The Bible has the power to convict of sin, cleanse the heart, and edify the believer in Christ. It is "sharper than any two edged sword" and can make a man complete in Christ Jesus. (Romans 10:17II Timothy 3:16-17Hebrews 4:12

2. TRINITY. We believe that there is one living and true God, eternally existing in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit; that they are co-equal, Infinite and Unchangeable; that they execute distinct but harmonious office in the sovereign work of creation, providence and redemption. (Psalm 90:2I John 5:7-8John 10:30Matthew 28:19-20Acts 5:3-5

3. GOD THE FATHER. We believe in God the Father, an Infinite, personal Spirit, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power and love. We believe that He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of mankind, that He hears and answers prayer, and that He saves from wages of sin all who come to Him through Jesus Christ. (James 1:17I Corinthians 8:6aJohn 4:24

4. JESUS CHRIST. We believe that Jesus Christ is God Incarnate, God's only begotten Son conceived by the Holy Spirit. We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles and teachings. We believe in His voluntary and substitutionary atoning death, bodily resurrection, ascension into heaven, intercession for His people and personal visible return to earth. (John 3:161:36I Peter 1:18-19Revelation 1:7Acts 1:9

5. THE HOLY SPIRIT. We believe in the Holy Spirit who came forth from the Father and the Son to convict the world of sin, righteousness and judgment and to regenerate, sanctify and empower all who believe in Jesus Christ. We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells and seals every believer in Christ, and that He is an abiding Helper, Teacher and Guide. We believe that the Holy Spirit infills surrendered Christians and that He has given spiritual gifts to believers. This section in no way endorses the present day charismatic movement with its emphasis on speaking in tongues. (John 14:2616:7-8Ephesians 1:13

6. MAN. We believe that man was created by God in His own image; that through voluntary transgression he fell from his sinless state in consequence of which all men are sinners by nature and by choice, and therefore, under the just condemnation of a righteous God; that he is utterly incapacitated to receive the grace of God apart from the quickening of the Holy Spirit.

7. REGENERATION. We believe that man is a sinner by nature and by choice from the age of accountability, and is, therefore, under condemnation. We believe that those who repent of their sins and trust in Jesus Christ as Saviour are regenerated by the Holy Spirit. We believe that they become a new creation in Christ Jesus, but the old nature is not eradicated. (Romans 3:103:235:127:1810:9Matthew 18:3II Samuel 12:23

8. SALVATION. We believe that salvation is only through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and His finished work on the cross of Calvary. It is by God's grace that He gives us the faith to be saved. The Lord Jesus Christ willingly took upon Himself a human body and gave Himself to be a vicarious atonement for our sin. His death, burial, and resurrection satisfied the holiness and justice of God, and He is now the propitiation for our sin. We believe that salvation is not purchased or aided by good works, baptism, or any other righteous act. The acceptance of Christ's work on the cross is the only means of salvation for any person. (John 14:6Ephesians 2:182:8-9Isaiah 53:3-7Mark 14:62Titus 3:5I Peter 2:24

9. CHRISTIAN CONDUCT. We believe that a Christian should live for the glory of God and the well-being of his fellowmen; that his conduct should be blameless through Christ before the world; that he should be a faithful steward of his possessions, time and talents; and that he should seek to realize for himself and others the full stature of maturity in Christ. (Romans 12:1-2II Timothy 2:15I Corinthians 10:31I Peter 4:10

10. THE ORDINANCES. We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ has committed two ordinances to the local Church: baptism and the Lord's Table. We believe that water baptism by immersion shall be administered on a profession of faith in Jesus Christ. We believe that baptism in itself has no saving merit, that it is a public profession of inward regeneration having taken place and professes to the fact that the Spirit of God dwells within the believer's heart. We believe that the Lord's Supper was instituted by Christ for the commemoration of His death and remembrance until His return. (Acts 2:38I Corinthians 11:23-26Acts 8:36-37Ephesians 2:8-9Luke 23:39-43

11. RELIGIOUS LIBERTY. We believe that every believer has direct relations with God, and is responsible to God alone in all matters of faith; that each Church is autonomous and must be free from interference by any ecclesiastical or political authority; that, therefore, Church and State must be kept separate as having different functions, each fulfilling its duties free from dictation or patronage of the other. (Hebrews 4:14-16Acts 5:29I Peter 2:5-9

12. THE LORD'S DAY. We believe that the first day of the week replaces the Sabbath and is the Lord's Day commemorating the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, and that it is the divinely appointed day to be kept sacred for worship and spiritual exercise. (I Corinthians 16:2Acts 20:7Mark 16:9

13. THE LAST THINGS. We believe that the rapture of the Church will take place before the tribulation and millennium. Christ's second coming to earth is at the end of the tribulation period and will usher in His thousand year reign on earth.

a. The Rapture of the Church—the next event on the prophetic calendar of God. No prophecy needs to be fulfilled before we meet Christ in the air. (Philippians 3:20I Thessalonians 4:13-5:11Revelation 3:10I Corinthians 15

b. The Tribulation Period—is a time of judgment of the world, including them that perish, because they received not the love of the truth that they might be saved. It is also the time for the conversion of a repentant Israel along with others from among all tongues, tribes and nations. The antichrist will seek to destroy those faithful to Christ during this period and will be judged by God at the Battle of Armageddon at the end of the tribulation. At this point, Christ will appear gloriously. During the tribulation, the Bema judgment of Christians for rewards and the marriage supper of the Lamb will take place in heaven. (Jeremiah 30:7-9Daniel 9:24-2711:40-45Zechariah 13:8-9Matthew 24:21II Corinthians 5:10II Thessalonians 2:10Revelation 16:12-1619:7-17

c. The Millennium—will then begin the thousand year reign of Christ when Christ will rule in righteousness on earth with a rod of iron, and we will reign with Him. (Daniel 2:447:13-147:16-17Revelation 16:12-1619:11-1620:6

d. The Ages to Come—the period following the millennium which includes Satan's final rebellion and judgment, the judgment at the Great White Throne when all the remaining dead and remaining unbelievers will be judged, and the establishment of the new heaven and new earth. (Revelation 20:7-1521:1-21

14. CIVIL GOVERNMENT. We believe that civil government is of divine appointment for the interests and good order of human society; that magistrates are to be prayed for conscientiously honoured and obeyed, except in the matters opposed to the will of our Lord Jesus Christ, who is the only Lord of the conscience, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. (Revelation 19:16;Philippians 2:9-10

15. SATAN. We believe that Satan is a created being that, at one time, held an exalted position among the angels. Being lifted up with pride, he and many angels rebelled against God. Satan possesses the qualities of personality and exercises influence upon man. His personality is clearly seen in the temptation of Christ. Satan is a powerful being, is called the "prince of the power of the air," the "prince of demons, the god of this world," the "serpent," the "tempter," the "wicked one." Yet his power is limited and can be overcome by the Christian who has been delivered from his authority. At his final defeat he will be thrown into the lake of fire. (Job 1:9-12Isaiah 14:12-14Ezekiel 28:12-19Daniel 10:12-13Matthew 4:1-119:3412:2413:1925:41Luke 11:14-18John 8:4414:30Romans 6:17-23II Corinthians 4:411:14Ephesians 2:26:11-12Colossians 1:13I Timothy 3:6James 4:7I Peter 5:8-9I John 3:8Revelation 20:10)
